By almost approaching the middle half of the constitutional leadership mandate, given the Executive and Legislative arms, it has become incumbent on us as citizens to set aside whichever grace period’s in whatsoever form for those in the helm of managing our affairs to accounting.
The Intelligent Youth of Afadzato South (IYAS), the known pressure grouping from Afadzato South District, for accountability and best practices is by this communiqué wishing Hon. Wisdom Semanu Seneadza, and Hon. Angela Oforiwa Alorwu-Tay, the District Chief Executive (DCE) and Member of Parliament (MP) for the district, respectively a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year in advance.
So far, so good, in the second successive governance setting of our local government as a district presented us leadership from the two (2) major political divides in our body politics.
This we envisaged as a Pressure Group in our initial projections will smack that rapid approach from leadership to issues bothering on development in the district and the general wellbeing of the people in a bid to enhancing the fortunes of the NPP and NDC, but with nothing so far to hope on.
By setting the records straight on the way forward for Afadzato South District, according to IYAS standards, we are rallying all well-meaning citizens of the district and the nation as a whole to revive their consciousness and support to the forward match of the district, and also to our upcoming civil citizenship encounter’s on leadership and accountability.
As you have already been aware, IYAS, always upholds leadership to best practices in management. And thus, starting from next year, we shall one after the other begin demanding answers to the many questions that we gathered during our quietness, so far begging answers.
We shall be as usual supporting this cases as with pieces of evidence in order to remain professional than ever.
Those that thought, in our two (2) years grace hibernation of reforms in best practices, human resourcing, and institution reconstruction is our deletion from the annals of holding the works of Afadzato to scrutiny, must start revising their notes, for IYAS cannot sleep, IYAS is always AWAKE, watching with ravenous taste for development.
By this reminder, we are awakening the consciousness of everyone in the leadership hierarchy within the district, to gather their facts ready in order to respond by supporting and clearing doubt’s lingering on the many cases in our books so far accumulated.
It has been our wish for the work load reduce through the local governance town hall stewardship encounter promised by Godfather, Prince K. Kludjeson and the Mayor, which never seen the light of day.
For us to develop as people, it will be our prerequisite to set realistic timelines and abide by them. Promising during invocation of emotions for temporary relief and doing otherwise cannot be a mark of responsible leadership.
In conclusion, we want to commend all our assemblymen and women for holding fort developments in their respective jurisdiction. We again want to thank benevolent institutions and all a wishes of the district for their love and steadfastness towards the development of the district.
