Ghanaians have taken to social media to ask Prophet Owusu Bempah where the African Cup of National he promised them is.
Some couple of days ago, the founder and leader of Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, Prophet Owusu Bempah was widely reported in the media to have predicted that Ghana Blackstars would win the AFCON trophy for the first time after over 32years.
According to Owusu Bempah, though the teams first and second matches ended in a draw, the team would lift the cup come July 19, 2019 in Egypt to end the trophy drought.
He was reported to have been speaking in an interview with Accra-based Neat FM. He called on Ghanaians to pray for the Black Stars because he is certain that the team would win and march on to the trophy.
“Each and every Ghanaian must pray for our Black Stars because we are winning this afternoon’s game and subsequently end our trophy drought and so I am hopeful that Ghana will win against Guinea-Bissau and bring the cup home,” he stated.
When he was reportedly asked if it was a revelation, the man who claims to be the nation’s prophet said: “this prediction is my opinion and I believe in it but it is not a revelation or a prophecy but I want Ghanaians to believe and it would happen.”
Today, Ghana Blackstars lost to Tunisia in a penalty shootout.
Ohhhhhhh, Ekuban missed his ………………….making Ghana got kicked out of the knock out stage.
Well, you can judge for yourself on the prophecies from the “Nation’s Prophet”
This is whats some Ghanaians are saying:
Ghanaians, please forgive Owusu Bempah he’s always saying things to please Nana Addo. When JDM was president during the 2015 Afcon people like Owusu Bempah were praying against Ghana winning the Afcon just because to them Mahama was incompetent and unworthy of being presented the trophy. Now they wanted it for their dear Nana Addo knowing very well that certain details had not been taken into serious consideration. Football was once our unifier, today politics has to the better part of our football. Nana Addo and his incompetent government was ready to spend any amount of money just for Nana Addo’s glory and honor. God bless Ghana and Ghanaians.
