The Saint Timothy and Titus Anglican church at Mayera-Dunyo in the Amasaman Municipality is inviting the public for free a health screening exercise for all.
The exercise is in collaboration with the Volta Gardens cum various media partners in Ghana.
The exercise which is the first of its kind, will attend to residents from all works of lives.
The beneficiaries will be screened of various ailments including diabetes, malaria, blood pressure and eye tests etc.
Some of the beneficiaries will be given drugs at the centers while others with severe conditions would be referred to other health facilities within the Municipality if possible.
In a press release signed, Mr Thomas Abroni aspiring Asemblyman said the exercise is based on a recent research conducted by the Ministry of Health which revealed rising cases of diabetes, malaria and blood pressure in the country.
The aspiring Assemblyman who doubles as the Disc Joker (DJ) entreated his constituents to ensure regular check-up and exercise for good health.
According to him, this is to offer residents and Ghanaians the opportunity to have their health checked on any bordering health issues and get treated for minor conditions.
He added that more of such programmes will be streamlined to help the constituents to improve on their health.
