Mr. Tauriq Amadu, who is the Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Awutu Senya East, has passed on.
The deceased’s untimely demise was made known by some party senior party officials within the constituency earlier today.
Mr. Amadu was seen as a dedicated and industrious member of the NDC fraternity and had been actively involved in party activities within the Awutu Senya East Constituency and central region as well.
His death was received with very heart-piercing moments, as the party’s communication director for the constituency couldn’t swallow his emotions as he confirmed the politician’s passing.
“I am utterly shocked, and I just can’t believe this is true that my brother Tuariq has joined our silent fathers,” he lamented.
Available sources revealed that Tauriq Amadu had been battling an ailment for some time and was responding to treatment at Ridge Hospital in Accra, where death laid its icy hands on him.
Such an unfortunate incident is a big blow for the entire NDC fraternity, as the party has lost a great asset.
