A Parliamentary candidate aspirant of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Krowor constituency in the Greater Accra region, Mrs. Dorcass Naa Klorku Afotey, has urged the delegates of the party in the Krowor constituency to give her a chance to create a new Krowor NDC where people will have equal opportunities.
Speaking to the media yesterday, Dorcass Naa Klorku Afotey said that the incumbent member of Parliament had failed the party’s grassroots, and delegates insisted that Krowor should give her a chance for the needed change, jobs, and development.
Dorcas Naa Klorku Afotey, who lamented the joblessness and underdevelopment challenges in the Krowor constituency, said her administration would restore the people’s hope and ensure that no delegates stayed in displaced person camps.
She said the incumbent had failed to deliver on her promises, making the party unattractive to the floating voters, and that she remained the only alternative to salvaging the Krowor NDC.
In his address, an activist and member of the party, Lordson Cyril Aforla, urged the party’s delegates to take the May 13t,h 2023 Parliamentary primary seriously by voting for Dorcass Naa Klorku Afotey because of the people-oriented programs she has to offer the party and the people of Krowor.
On his part, he urged the party’s delegates not to sell their votes but to vote for Dorcass Naa Klorku Afotey to actualize its dream of restoring the lost glory of the party in krowor.
Dorcas Naa klorku Afotey who was praised for her benevolence works in and outside the Krowor Constituency indicated that, she has the political will to lead the party to victory in Krowor if given the nod.
Appealing to the delegates, she asked the party members to rally behind her candidature because she knows the road to the creation of jobs and development.
