[dropcap]A[/dropcap] case involving the 13 members of the pro New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) vigilante group, Delta force has been adjourned to 13th July, 2017 by the Kumasi Circuit Court today.

This follows last few months when 13 of its members allegedly assaulted the Ashanti Regional Security coordinator and destroyed his office in the process.

The 13 where arrested and escaped from the Kumasi circuit court by the aid of eighty of its members after storming the place and creation [ads1]confusion. Subsequently the eight were arrested and charged with conspiracy to assault a public officer and causing unlawful damage.

The case was adjourned following the prosecutor; ACP Okyere Darko told the court his officials need time to conduct further investigation.

The prosecution prayed the court to give them time since it only received the docket from the Attorney Generals Department after going through it.

The court presided over by Mary Nsenkyire adjourned the case to 13th of July.

The 13 are Kwaku Awortwe, Yussif Salifu, Kojo Fosu Bamba, Awal Sadat Abubakar, Akwasi Owusu, Yussif Salu, Eggya Boadi, Hamza          Mohammed, Kwabena Owusu, Jamil Issa, Abubakar Sadiq, Koki Kyei, Salu Yussif.
