Why can’t you channel energy to demand accountability from those in power? – Attuh bites A-Plus

Stephen Kwabena Attuh, a political activist and communicator is asking Kwame Asare Obeng popularly know as A-Plud why he rather chose to throw shade on the NDC members in Parliament rather than channeling that energy to seek accountability from those in government.

A-Plus who was reacting to a newspaper headline that capture Nii Lantey Vanderpuije, NDC MP for Ablekuman to have said that they [NDC] will resist the Ayapa deal with all their blood took to his Facebook page to subtlety suggest the NDC is in bed with the NPP in Parliament to force down the throat of Ghanaians policies they rejected.

A-Plus writes:

“Their supporters will believe this nonsense and fiercely resist Agyapa on social media and even organize demonstrations against it. Whiles they are doing that, Hon. Nebuchadnezzar and his deciples will go to Akufo Addo and Co and say to them, “take it to parliament, we will do like we are angry and stage a walk out. Then you guys pass it. Then we will go to court as if we want to overturn the decision.”

Ne nyinaa yɛ beat. Forgeti!!!”

This seems not to go down well with Mr. Attuh who sharply responded to A Plus:

“Why can’t you channel energy to demand accountability for those in power

So all the NPP MPs were elected into parliament to be irresponsible? Why is the NDC side the best side to attack? Do they formulate these deals? Why can’t you channel energy to demand accountability for those in power?”

The returned Agyapa deal has started generating yet another though resistance from the public and civil society organizations the same way the 1.5% electronic transactions levy was opposed yet saw parliament passing the bill into law amid a walk out of the NDC MPs after which they headed to the Supreme Court to challenge legality of the bill.
