Volta 1 Television, a Ho based television station together with Media Seven, in collaboration with Rising Star Africa Promotion and Togbui Badu Royal House of Anyako will give fans of Issac Dogboe (Royal Storm Dogboe) a live broadcast of the bout between Dogboe and his Mexican opponent Emmanuel Navarrete on Saturday 8th, December.

The broadcast house, is the only media house with the exclusive broadcasting rights for the bout in Ghana and Africa at large.

The bout will take place at the Madison Square Gardens in the United States and will be live on Volta One Television (V1TV).

Royal Storm Dogboe fought 20 times and won all, including 14 KOs. The bout against Navarrete will be in defense of his WBO World Super Bantamweight title he won in April this year and subsequently defended as Japanese Hidenori Otake in August.

His opponent, Mexico’s Emmanuel Navarrete fought 25 times and lost just ones with 24 wins.

Addressing a press conference in Ho on Wednesday, the CEO of Volta One Tv, Madam Dzifa Ativor said the initiative is to support their own (Isaac Dogboe), and equally bring the bout closer to persons who love the sports in the region.

“What we are doing is to promote one of our own. Our very own son, “the Royal Storm”, hails from Anyako, so we deem it necessary to as part of our vision to showing off the richness of the Volta region to the world, to support him and urge him on to victory for all of Volta and Ghana”. she said.

The bout will also be live on a giant screen at the Captain Nfodjo Park in the Volta regional capital on Saturday, coupled with musical performances and other attractive activities.
