A former Deputy General Secretary of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) has indicated that the once-revered Electoral Commission is gradually losing it.
Mr. Ekow Djan, lamenting why the Electoral Commission would adjudicate to itself legitimacy of holding onto a public document, said, “It appears the Summary Sheet of the Constituency Parliamentary Results has now turned into a private property of the Commission”. Explaining that the EC’s actions are making gradually lose its credibility.
Reacting to what some social media users describe as a “culture of silence”, he said, “regrettably, all Voices of Conscience have suddenly gone quiet; showing absolute no interest in putting the EC to order but are quick to condemn the aggrieved party for protesting”.

We’re yet to establish what is preventing the Electoral Commission from publishing the Parliamentary Results of Techiman South just as they have published the Presidential Results of the same constituency.
It appears the Summary Sheet of the Constituency Parliamentary Results has now turned into a private property of the Commission.
And regrettably, all Voices of Conscience have suddenly gone quiet; showing absolute no interest in putting the EC to order but are quick to condemn the aggrieved party for protesting.
