North Dayi: 80 young women to graduate from MP’s Skills Acquisition Training Project

Some eighty (80) young women are expected to graduate with various skills from Joycelyn Tetteh‘s Skills Acquisition Training Project tomorrow, December 29, 2022 at Botoku in the North Dayi Constituency of the Volta Region.

The project is an initiative of the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh aims at complementing efforts in reducing youth unemployment through skills training.

The graduation ceremony which has Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the newly elected National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress as its special guest is to climax the two-day MP’s Annual Football Festival.

The football gala (tournament) saw sixteen (16) participating teams play their hearts out for what has become a coveted annual trophy.

The festival also had former black stars international John Paintsil as the guest of honor.

“To have former black stars international John Paintsil and his beautiful wife equally grace the o assign and have some tête-à-tête with the players was motivating.” – Mr. Elikem Kotoko, the newly elected NDC Deputy National Organizers who was at the event under the MP’s invitation posted on his Facebook page.

“In the end, it was the Bume football team that carried the day at the end of the two-day event
To crown the activities will be a graduation ceremony for some eighty (80) young women who were taken through some skills acquisition training for two (2) years.” – Mr. Kotoko added
