Mahama has a short memory- Richard Ahiagbah on NDC’s manifesto

Richard Ahiagbah on NDC manifesto

Richard Ahiagbah, the Director of Communications for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticized former President John Mahama over the policies outlined in the National Democratic Congress’ 2024 manifesto.

According to him, the NDC’s flagbearer is not abreast of current developments in the country, as he [Mahama] discusses policies that are already being implemented by the current administration.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Mr. Ahiagbah wrote, “John Mahama appears to be out of touch with the realities facing Ghanaians. It seems he either has a short memory or has entirely forgotten that many of the key initiatives he is proposing are already being implemented by the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration, which he claims has done nothing.”

The NPP stalwart further claimed that the recently launched NDC manifesto contains many policies already outlined in the ruling party’s manifesto.

“Mahama’s latest proposals seem to be a mere repetition of the essential parts of the NPP Manifesto, embellished with different wording to appear original but lacking any fresh ideas.

“What is new this time seems to be a rebranded attempt to deceive Ghanaians, much like a so-called miracle herbal remedy being marketed as a cure-all for every challenge facing the country,” he added.
