Member of Parliament for Gomoa East, Desmond De-Graft Paitoo, has donated 700 bags of cement to some communities in the constituency to help with ongoing community-based development projects.
He made the donation in response to requests from communities that had not benefited from the MP’s previous donations of 1000 and 400 cement bags, respectively.
Speaking to the media during the presentation at Gomoa Akotsi, Dr. Desmond De-Graft Paitoo humbly urged all beneficiary communities to use the donated cement for the intended purposes, which include the construction of drainage systems, police stations, and the expansion of health and educational facilities.
Beneficiary communities are Nyanyano, Nyanyano Kakraba, Budumburam, Dasum, Akramang, Adabra, Dominase, Potsin, Fetteh, Ojobi, Dabenyi, and Adewukwaa.
Representatives from the aforementioned communities expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the MP for his kind gesture and dedication to the development of the constituency.
They pledged their unflinching support to the MP and John Dramani Mahama in the forthcoming December 2024 elections.
Dr. Desmond De-Graft Paitoo was accompanied by the former DCE for Gomoa East, Hon. Moses Jehu Appiah, NDC constituency executives led by Deputy Secretary Francis Aidoo, and branch executives representing various branches across the constituency.
