The founder and leader of Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, Prophet Owusu Bempah was reported in the media to have predicted that Ghana Blackstars would win the AFCON trophy for the first time after over 32years.

According to Owusu Bempah, though the teams first and second matches ended in a draw, the team would lift the cup come July 19, 2019 in Egypt to end the trophy drought.

He was reported to have been speaking in an interview with Accra-based Neat FM. He called on Ghanaians to pray for the Black Stars because he is certain that the team would win and march on to the trophy.

“Each and every Ghanaian must pray for our Black Stars because we are winning this afternoon’s game and subsequently end our trophy drought and so I am hopeful that Ghana will win against Guinea-Bissau and bring the cup home,” he stated.

When he was reportedly asked if it was a revelation, the man who claims to be the nation’s prophet said: “this prediction is my opinion and I believe in it but it is not a revelation or a prophecy but I want Ghanaians to believe and it would happen.”
