E/R: Man, 66, found dead in guest house after checking in with 25 year old girl

A man believed to be 66 years old has been found dead in a guest house at Effiduase off the Akwadum road in the New Juaben North Municipality of the Eastern Region.

Mr Agyei, as the deceased has been identified, onboard a red Toyota Corolla with registration number ER 1614 -17.

He reportedly checked in at Adom Guest House as William Agyei and lodged there with a 25-year-old lady on 19 December 2020.

The next day when the receptionist wanted to clean the room, she knocked the door several times but there was no response.

Upon opening the door, she found the lifeless body of the man on the bed with the lady he checked in with nowhere to be found.

The owner of the guest house reported the incident to the Effiduase police. Investigators proceeded to the scene and on inspection found several sex enhancement drugs including Vigrx for men, Deep heat spray, Unirob polar ice gel, bendroflumethiazide tablets and several other used tablets in a bag found in the room.

Also, a red bag containing the personal clothes of the deceased including some regalias and a black handbag containing an amount of Gh¢2000 were also found.

Police say they found no signs of violence or bodily harm on the deceased except foaming on the mouth.

The body has been conveyed to St. Joseph’s Hospital morgue for preservation awaiting autopsy.

Meanwhile, the deceased’s vehicle has been taken to the police station for safe keeping, as well as the items found in the guest room frantic efforts are being made to trace the identity of the said young lady and the deceased family of the deceased to assist investigations.
