Scores of New Patriotic Party members have demonstrated today in the Volta Regional capital Ho over their disagreements with respect to President Akufo Addo nominating Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa to be the Volta Regional Minister pending Parliamentary approval.

Dr. Letsa who was the Regional Minister in the first term of the President was renominated by the President to serve as regional minister for two consecutive terms but a group calling itself “Volta NPP Grassroots” have kicked against the decision by the President saying that Dr Lestsa is not fit for purpose and thus he cannot lead the region for the second time.
