First of it’s kind, the Ghana Armed Forces will host the International Defence Exhibition And Conference, (IDEC 2022) on the theme “strengthening international collaboration to combat terrorism and transnational organized crimes”.

The Ghana Armed Forces in partnership with Great Minds Events LLC (GM) Gulf of Guinea Maritime Institute (GOGMI) will hold the two days event schedule for Tuesday October 11 to Wednesday October 12, 2022 at the Burma hall inside Burma Camp.

In a press statement signed by the director of public relations at the Ghana Armed Forces on Monday September 26, 2022, naval captain Michael Larbi reiterated that, the event is expected to bring together delegates from the top hierarchy of the Ghana Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, military solution providers and other experts including panelists and speakers.

The statement emphasized that, the “main purpose is to deliberate on growing threats of terrorism and other transnational crimes that pose significant security concerns in the Region and strategies to address them comprehensively”.
