The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on the Electoral Comission to avoid undue delays in the declaration of the 2024 election presidential results.
Speaking at a press conference at the party’s headquarters on Sunday, 8 December, the general secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, reiterated the need for the EC to declare the presidential results in time.
He said, “The outcome is clear, and we are confident it is firmly in our grasp.”
He also revealed that the NDC are ready to govern the country in the best possible way to the benefit of Ghanaians. “We have achieved a substantial majority, and we intend to utilize this mandate responsibly for the benefit of all Ghanaians. With regard to the presidential results, we urge Jean Mensa and her team at the Electoral Commission to ensure there are no undue delays in the declaration” Mr Kwetey stated.
