Dr. Moatasem Jaafar, president of the Sudanese Football Association, has explained the delay in coach James Kwesi Appiah’s salary payments, which has led to speculation that the Ghanaian coach had boycotted training.

Jaafar clarified that the issue arose due to complications with bank transfers to Ghana, but assured that it would be resolved soon.

The Sudanese Football Association is determined to resolve the issue quickly, and Appiah is expected to join the team in Saudi Arabia for their upcoming matches against Senegal and South Sudan.
