The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma Central Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Hon.Abdul Latif Dan has embarked on a “Thank You Tour” to express his gratitude to the electorates for electing him to represent them in Parliament.
He was accompanied by some constituency executives.
The tour, which started on Friday May 21, 2021, forms part of the MP’s pledge to get closer to the good people of Ablekuma Central in order to know their problems and speed up development in the constituency.
The MP and some constituency executives visited the butcher’s market behind the International Central Gospel Church and the Ayigbe town community and hoped to cover the remaining communities in the Constituency in the days to come.
Hon. Abdul Latif Dan during his campaign tour pledged to be accessible and accountable to the constituents when voted into office.
The MP further pledged to ensure development and make the welfare of his constituents a topmost priority.
At a brief ceremony organized by the butchers , a goat was presented to the MP as a sign of appreciation for the good work he has done in his few months in office as the Member of Parliament.
Hon. Abdul Latif Dan expressed gratitude to the meat sellers for the confidence they had reposed in him and for welcoming him with a fat goat.
He called on the constituents to support him to enable him accomplish his development agenda for the Constituency.
