As part of efforts to ensure rapid development and transformation within the Gbawe Gonse community in the Greater Accra Region, the Gbawe Gonse Zongo Chief, Sarki Mohammed Ahmed Abass on December 14, turbined cabinet members to steer the affairs of the community.

The well-organized and well-attended coronation was graced by a number of dignitaries such as the Greater Accra Zabarma Chief and the President of Zabarma communities in Ghana, Sarki Musah Yahaya Yendu, the Member of Parliament for Weija-Gbawe Constituency, Hon. Tina Mensah, the former Parliamentary aspirant, Hon. Faisal Seidu, the Central Regional Yuroba Chief, Chief Abdul Salami Oba Saka, the Moshie Yadiga Chief, Naba Ramia among notable personalities and political parties’ representatives.

The coronation sought to bring together Chiefs from the various Zongo communities to foster unity, development and progress of the Zongos.

The Gbawe Gonse Zongo Chief urged the chiefs to ensure that health and education becomes the topmost priority adding that education and health are the major factors to transform the people.

He expressed his gratitude to his senior Chief and members of the Greater Accra Council of Zongo Chiefs for their support to him over the years in ensuring the progress of the Gbawe Gonse.

He assured that he will work hand in hand with his cabinet members and the good people of Gbawe Gonse in other to achieve his goal which is to bring massive development to his people.

He stated that his doors are open 24/7 for all devoid of ones tribe or religion and he is ready to support the people especially the needy.
