Prolific striker Amos Opoku Annor of the Techiman Heroes has assured supporters he would leave it all on the pitch of play today in the Access Bank Division One Zone 1 championship playoff.
The Access Bank Division One league in zone one has been split into two zones, A and B. Winners of the zones are facing off in Accra to determine the champion of the zone and one to be promoted to the Ghana Premier League for the 2024/25 season.
Techiman Heroes Sporting Club emerged winners of Zone 1A, beating Victory Club Warriors FC and Tamale City FC to the top spot. Young Apostles meanwhile, ruled Zone 1B, leaving Techiman Liberty Youth and Wanamafo Mighty Royals FC in their wake.
Ahead of the massive encounter in Accra on June 4, Techiman Heroes leading marksman Amos Annor was not short of motivation as he looks set to seal Premier League qualification with the club.
“I am a winner and I came to win for my club,” adding, “I know this is teamwork but I am ready to die for my club today. Setting precedent is what I am known for and I believe my colleagues will contribute immensely to give us the edge over Young Apostles,” he told Awakenewsroom.
The game is scheduled to start at 3 pm today, June 4, 2024. Will it be the Heroes or the ‘Agya na wo Tumi’?
