Thomas Worlanyo TSEKPO, a youth activist of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Brong Ahafo Region has confirmed and affirmed his intention to contest for the position of the Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organizer of the party.
Speaking to Awake News after officially releasing his campaign flyers on social media, Mr. Tsekpo said he has finally joined the race after months of consultation with the grassroots.
According to him, he has all it takes to mobilize the youth in the Brong [ads1]Ahafo Region for the victory of the NDC in 2020.
The outspoken and prolific writer said “Regional Youth Leadership is not about the name. It’s not about the fame, it’s not about what one will gain but it’s about knowing and meeting the right people and creating opportunities to benefit those who trusted and kept you at where you are. It’s about making your hands dirty to be the man in the arena.
Regional Youth Leadership is not about timidity, it’s about boldness to confront and solve complex issues and not giving excuses.
Leaders solve problems, They don’t wait for Resources!”
Mr. Worlanyo TSEKPO is have been a very active members of the NDC since 1993 and currently the Director of Elections and Research of Brekum East Constituency of the NDC. He also served as Polling Station Secretary Breakum
Efo Worlanyo TSEKPO is currently the Chairman of Berekum Municipal Union of the Public Service Workers Union of the Youth Employment Agency.
He is known on the national front as a youth activist who is very vocal on national issues and the youth see him as their voice in the region.
Mr. TSEKPO is a Youth Activist in Brong Ahafo Region and has been in Brong Ahafo Region since 1993.
In 2011 he became the National President of Entrepreneurship and Finance Students Union. His administration within a year saw a purchase of two buses, the establishment of mineral water factory to support activities of the union, capacity building for members as well as Entrepreneurship training for members.
In 2012 Efo Worlanyo TSEKPO during his national service days in Sandema in Upper East Region, he contested and became the District NASPA President and later won the Regional election to become the Upper East Regional President of National Service Personnel Association (NASPA).
Mr. Tsekpo is currently the Director of Operations in Berekum Youth Employment Agency.
