WIUC-TEIN DONATES FOOD ITEMS TO GMSA-WIUC BRANCH EXECUTIVES TO BE DISTRIBUTED AMONG ALL MUSLIMS STUDENTS
The Wisconsin International University College, Tertiary Education Institutions Network TEIN (WIUC-TEIN) a branch of the youth wing of the National Democratic Congress has in the early hours of today donated some consumable items to the Ghana Muslim Students Association(GMSA) WIUC-branch to be distributed to all Muslim Students.
The gesture was to create and continue to build upon the existing rapport and cordial relationship between all students and in particular Muslim students who stay on and around campus.
The items were presented as a token of good gesture to the Muslims students as they observe the *Holy month of Ramadan* ( a thirty day fasting period) in accordance with the tenets of Islam.
The resources were mobilised through individual tein members, patrons and the Deputy Youth Organiser Edem Agbana, whose contribution and donations the successful execution of the project.
The items included, a 25 kg bag of rice, pakcs of battle water, dozens of soft drinks Sugar Milo, rice, Lipton, fruit drinks,soft drinks, biscuit among others.
On the part of WIUC-TEIN, Mr. Simon Tetteh the organiser in _*handing over the items said, the token was a gesture of good will and solidarity on behalf of the leader and Flag bearer of the NDC, His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, the Youth wing of the NDC and the entire membership of TEIN-WIUC.*_
The leadership of GMSA-WIUC were grateful and deeply acknowledged the gesture and good work. They promised to distribute the items to various Muslims students across board. On behalf of GMSA, Mr. Dhalhat, prayed for TEIN-WIUC and all members who contributed towards the donations.
The leadership of TEIN-WIUC wish to extend our warmest gratitude to all comrades who bought into the idea and supported through donations and physical presence. We wish to extend invitation towards future projects of similar importance.
Once again, we have set another unmatched record on the campus of WIUC, as the leading and most vibrant political party youth group pragmatic and unique in the achievements of our set objectives.
