As talks about the possible legalization of same sex marriage takes lead in Ghanaian media, controversial musician turned Politician A Plus has shared a post which suggest he is in support of any move to legalize LGBT activities in Ghana.
In a post he shared on Facebook A Plus query why a law enforcement officer will arrest two amen for doing something behind closed doors.
His post shared on face goes like “Why will anyone spend a second of their lives thinking about why two men are in a room?
Honestly, If that is what they want to do, I personally don’t care!!! What about you?
Discuss…”
Lesbians, Gays, Bisexual and Transgender activism has taken center stage in discussion as an office has been established for them in the nations capital;Accra.
Ghanaian Views on social media and mainstream media still remains divided with one group asking President Akufo Addo to shutdown the office because it goes against the values and culture of Ghana while others believe it’s will serve no purpose because what two adults consent to do with their sex lives should remain their own problem and not a national issue.
Even though government is yet to state its official position on this issue, there are also those who believe President Akufo Addo’s remark in the past that LGBT was bound to happen in Ghana gives some validation to this strong activism which is sweeping around the world.
