The Overloads of Nogokpo in the Ketu South Constituency of the Volta Region have assured the newly elected General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey their support to perform his task without fear.
In a statement sighted by Awake News, the Spokesperson of the Overloads and Citizens of Nogokpo, Mr. Amuzu William Agbodzalu said “Fifi Fiavi Kwetey is our son from Nogokpo and he is one of our brave Warriors from the land.” adding that “His Victory as the next general Secretary of NDC party is welcome news and we shall solidly be behind him both physically and spiritually to perform his tasks without fear to rescue Ghanaians from the current hardship.”
In their congratulatory message, they are also appealing to “the leadership of the party and other Nogokpo citizens at home and abroad to extend cordial relationship with him to deliver, to the interest of the NDC party and Ghanaians.”
The former Agric Minister last Saturday at the NDC Congress secured a resounding victory by polling 4,543 votes against Dr Otukunor who got 2,595 and Mr Afriyie Ankrah’s 1,408.
