At the start of the tournament the hardworking Headmaster of the School, Mr. S. H. K. Presenting the four trophies won to the Municipal Director of Education and the MCE the headmaster who was full of joy promised the general public of the school’s resolve to adequately prepare the third year students to excel in her maiden West African Senior High School Certificate Examination. Alluding to the victory, he said “Just as we won boys soccer and many other events without a football field or many sporting facilities we, with God on our side, do well as a Science school even though we have no Science Lab”
In their response the Director and the MCE promised their unflinching support to the school. The MCE and the Presiding Member donated 200.00 and 100.00 Ghana cedis respectively to the teams while the headmaster and some members of staff also made similar donations
Some community members expressed their profound gratitude to the Former President, H.E. John Mahama for building such a wonderful school which is chalking many successes within this short period.

Nkwanta Community Day Senior High was commissioned by the former president John Mahama on Wednesday, 18th of November, 2015. The school is a mix school and has a student population of 1,218. The school runs programs including General Science, Agricultural Science, Home Economics, General Arts, Business, Visual Arts and Technical Education.
The school for now is a day school and it is situated in the Nkwanta South Municipality. The school has a very hardworking qualified staff for both teaching and non-teaching. The school is hoping to in the near future open the boarding system to accommodate students from afar.
CHALLENGES
The fast-growing school of the student population of 1,218 needs additional classrooms since the already existing ones are inadequate to contain the population. The school in the interim is in dire need of Pavilions to be used as the classroom. There are also no Technical/Vocational/General Art Workshop, no Science Lab even though the school is a science school. Again as a matter of urgency, the school needs a separate administration block to facilitate administration processes in the school.
