Joshnson Asiedu Nketia, NDC General Secretary

The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has asserted that vetting of ministerial positions under the currently Akufo-Addo’s yet to be constituted government is not for only approving the nominees but for blocking nominees who are thieves.

Responding to a question posed to him by Citi FM’s Kojo Agyemah, during a press conference at the NDC Headquarter in Accra, who asked if the NDC MPs would take part in the vetting of President Nana Akuffo Addo’s ministerial nominees since he said they will not recognize Akuffo-Addo as a legitimate president. Mr. Nketia said, “why not, vetting is not for only approvals of nominees but for blocking of nominees who are thieves.”
