An activist of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Courage Kwabla Babanawo has challenged the Municipal Chief Executive of Ketu South, Mr. Elliot Agbenorwu to provide documentary evidence showing that he initiated the Amedzikofe Police Station project.
Mr. Babanawo in a statement copied Awake News described as ‘shameless’ the MCE’s claim at the just ended Town Hall Meeting at Ho that the said project is was initiated under his leadership.
“It is indeed shameless to note that the honourable MCE for Ketu South in the person of Elliot Agbenorwu knows no shame as he goes round saying that his tenure of office witnessed the establishment of the Amedzikope police station”
“I expected him to say the very truth to the people that he only came to office to paint it [the Police Station]. Without reservations do I wish to point out that Amedzikope police station was initiated by Hon Fifi Kwetey when he was deputy minister of finance through the Government of Ghana and was completed but finance ministry could unfortunately not pay the contractor all the money before NDC left power” – he added
For him, it does not surprised him, the claim by the MCE as claiming ownership of John Mahama led projects is the news governance business for the Akufo-Addo’s led government now.
“It sound not as a surprise to me of Late anytime I see NPP members claiming ownership of projects awarded and supervised by H.E John Dramani Mahama”

KETU SOUTH M.C.E SHOULD GIVE US DOCUMENTS OF AMEDZIKOPE POLICE STATION IF HE CLAIMS OWNERSHIP –
It sound not as a surprise to me of Late anytime I see NPP members claiming ownership of projects awarded and supervised by H.E John Dramani Mahama.
Amedzikope police station is one over which the NPP is senselessly claiming ownership.
At a town hall meeting at Ho , one of which was to showcase government’s developments so after over a year and a half in office .
It is indeed shameless to note that , the honourable MCE for Ketu South in the person of Elliot Agbenorwu knows no shame as he goes round saying that his tenure of office witnessed the establishment of the Amedzikope police station.
I expected him to say the very truth to the people that he only came to office to paint it . Without reservations do I wish to point out that Amedzikope police station was initiated by Hon Fifi Kwetey when he was deputy minister of finance through the Government of Ghana and was completed but finance ministry could unfortunately not pay the contractor all the money before NDC left power.
Is it not very much and extraordinarily shameful that the NPP’s likes of this MCE are a bunch of liars ..??
The municipality of Ketu South expects nothing but the truth , as they look forward to the town hall meeting which comes off today .
My harmless question to the MCE of the Ketu South district remains , ” When are you going to construct Denu to Ho Road..?? ” .
I only pray that the MCE does not throw dust into the eyes of the audience at the town hall meeting , but rather approach the issues with professionalism and maturity .
Long live Ghana ,
Long live Ketu South .
