The Volta Regional Communication outfit of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has cautioned party members against pronouncements and signing of articles by designating themselves as communicators without the authorization of the constituency or regional communication outfit.
In a press statement signed by the Regional Communication Officer, Mr. Kafui Agbleze on Friday evening, the outfit considers such articles as an unsanctioned, and as a serious breach of protocol.
The Regional Communication outfit as contained in the statement, noted however that, some of these articles may be ‘well-intended’ and may seek to shape national discourse, hence, it has directed that persons (communicators) who intend to publish such articles, should do so with the express authorization of the constituency or regional communication outfit.

STATEMENT OF CAUTION
The Volta Regional Communication Outfit of the National Democratic Congress has taken notice of a certain culture of injudicious authoring of articles and or write-ups and the circulation of same on assorted social media portals by persons designating themselves as Communicators of the NDC.
It is stated, for the avoidance of doubt, that such practice, while it may be well-intended and may seek to make needed input into the national discourse, is, nonetheless, a serious breach of protocol to the extent that these (articles) are mostly unsanctioned by relevant outfits within the party.
Notice is hereby given that any communicator (who is duly sanctioned and recognized by the party as such) that wishes to publish such piece(s) in his/her capacity as a Communicator of the party should do so only with the express authorization of the Constituency/Regional Communication Officers.
Caution is hereby served for all to desist from signing personal write-ups under the designation of ‘Communicators’ of the party if they are not, as this has the potential of adversely affecting the smooth operation of the party’s communication drive.
Thank you.
Signed:
KAFUI AGBLEZE
V/R Comms. Officer
