A Volta Region based NGO, Kafui Foundation is set to hold a get-together for the aged in the Afadzato South District in the Volta Region.
According to the Founder of the Kafui Foundation, Augusta Kafui Takyi, in an interview with Awake News said the event is expected to draw over 500 old men and women from across district for the feast at Cobby’s Lodge, Ve Wudome.
Ms. Takyi said the activity is part of the efforts of the foundation to give hope to the aged and opportunity have fun help them feel they are not forgotten.
Augusta Kafui Takyi is the Founder and Director of Kafui Foundation. She is a community and home-based Counselor and a teacher.
She was the an aspirant of Parliamentary Candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Afadzato South Constituency in 2015.
