The Member of Parliament for the Akatsi North Constituency, Mr. Peter Nortsu-Kotoe has presented a number of assorted items to the Ave-Afiadenyigba Zongo Community, on Wednesday 15th May.

The items comprising 25 bags of rice, 8 gallons of cooking and 5 bags of sugar were presented to elders of the community at the forecourt of the Mosque.

The MP was accompanied by the Constituency Executives, including the the Constituency Chairman, Mr. Richard Awudza, who took the opportunity to sensitize the gathering on the upcoming limited registration exercise.

The MP after the presentation reassured the community on his commitment towards the construction of a six-unit classroom block for the Islamic basic school. According to him, the project would soon commence once the necessary documentations are completed.

The MP, an educationist and a Ranking Member of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, is known for his meritorious contribution towards issues of education, with support for students in both second cycle and tertiary institutions.
