On Sunday, 1st December 2019, history was made in UHAS SRC where the leadership of the Students’ Representative Council addressed the student fraternity on the state of the SRC in a grand ceremonial style.

The message on the State of SRC Address was given by the Federal SRC President, His Excellency Abraham Norman Nortey under the auspices of the Speaker of UHAS SRC Parliament House, Rt. Hon. Lawrence S.K Nyalemegbe at the Medical Bloc, North (Trafalgar) campus.
The State of SRC Address (SOSA) gave the Federal SRC President the platform to recount salient happenings in different sectors of the UHAS SRC community, stretching from academics, security, health, sanitation, SRC rebranding, sports, vocational training, accommodation and to the state of finances.

SOSA is a constitutional mandate that provides a platform for the Federal SRC President to appear before UHAS SRC Parliament House to state the condition in the UHAS SRC community, indicating the progress made and the challenges over the past years in the erstwhile administrations, and indicate succinctly what it is that the SRC intends to do for the students.

In the president’s orations, he admonished students to make commitments of the fees and register their courses to prevent futility of the end of semester exams.
