Two Arrested in Ho for Constructing Unauthorized Speed Ramps

The Police have nabbed two individuals for constructing unauthorized speed ramps along the Ho – Sogakope highway in the Volta Region.

The two suspects, Saviour Azakasi and Quarshie Godson were caught on a video that has gone viral on social media platforms, in the company of other suspects, mounting the ramps with concrete blocks and materials.

In the viral video, the suspects were seen digging trenches across the road. The police mounted a search and arrested them, and are currently in custody aiding investigations.

A statement by the Police said efforts are underway to get the other suspects apprehended.
