A chilling incident has shaken the tranquil town of Twifo Praso in the Central Region, leaving residents reeling in shock and horror. An 18-year-old girl, identified as Nana Zinabu, was found dead in her bedroom, with three used condoms discovered near her lifeless body. The gruesome scene has sparked widespread outrage and fear, prompting a swift investigation by the local authorities.
According to eyewitnesses, the victim’s body was discovered by a housemate at approximately 4:30 AM, while preparing food for sale. The eyewitness entered Nana Zinabu’s room, only to find her lying naked, with her mouth sealed with a substance resembling super glue. The room also contained apples and the used condoms, which have raised more questions than answers.
The police were immediately notified, and officers from the Praso Police Station arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation. The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Twifo Atti Morkwa District Hospital for autopsy and further examination.
Superintendent Charles Addei Boateng, the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Commander, has assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway to unravel the circumstances surrounding Nana Zinabu’s tragic death.
