The Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Mr. Kofi Dzameshie has called on traditional authorities to add their voices to the global campaign against COVID-19 which presently puts the human race under an existential threat. The initiative of Torgbui Patamia IV of Srogboe and other similar efforts by the Awoamefia of Anlo States, Torgbui Sri III have demonstrated how government and traditional authority can collaborate on many other developmental issues to improve livelihoods and sustain peace and development in the country. It is the fervent prayer of all that COVID-19 shall soon be a thing of the past.
