A staff member of the Communications Directorate of the Office of the President and former Executive Director of the State Enterprises Commission, Justice Abeeku Newton-Offei, has praised Stan Dogbe, a former presidential staffer in the John Mahama administration and a branding expert.
Mr. Dogbe, who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Woezor Group, owners of Woezor TV, is one of the most celebrated marketing and branding experts in the country. He is credited with being the mastermind behind the successful, well-branded, and flashy events organized by the NDC.
Despite their ideological differences, Mr. Newton-Offei could not hide his admiration for the NDC stalwart.
In a social media post made on Wednesday, August 14, the presidential staffer wrote, “I’ve always detested his political ideology […] and fought him, relentlessly in the media, since 2012, on both Minority and Majority Caucus in Joy Newsroom.
“As a presidential staffer under John Dramani Mahama, Stan Xoese Dogbe smashed camera and other gadgets of journalists, and I condemn him.
“These notwithstanding, there’s one thing I would always praise him for: his impeccable acumen of pulling-off eye-catching branding is mesmerizing. I watch the work he’s doing by live coverage on WoezorTV of John Mahama’s campaign tours across the country, and I’m left with no doubt, he’s so good,” he stated.
Mr. Newton-Offei further stated that the Woezor TV CEO deserves every comfortable position in the next Mahama administration. However, he added that his efforts would ultimately be in vain due to his [Newton-Offei’s] conviction that the NPP will emerge victorious in the December 7 presidential election.
“A person like this deserves every ‘comfort’ if John Mahama won; unfortunately, NPP will break the 8, at all cost, and all his labor will go up in smoke,” he said.
