Ranking Member of Parliament’s Defence and Interior Committee, Rev. Ntim Fordjour, has accused Joy FM host Samson Lardy Anyenini of staging a deliberate smear campaign against him during a recent broadcast.
Speaking to Paul Adom Otchere, Fordjour claimed that fabricated messages presented as public feedback were read on air to discredit him after he appeared on the show to discuss ongoing investigations into suspicious aircraft, narcotics trafficking, and money laundering at Kotoka International Airport.
“I asked Samson where the messages came from, and he said his producer sent them. But the producer denied it,” Fordjour alleged. “It was a calculated attempt to shift attention from the real issues.”
He said he would not be deterred by what he described as diabolic and mischievous tactics, and emphasized his commitment to pushing for transparency and accountability in the investigations. Fordjour also raised concerns about attempts to silence him and deflect attention from unresolved drug and money seizures.
“I will follow this through until the truth comes out,” he vowed.
