Speaking to issues of insecurity in Ghana hits me straight to the grave because, there is nothing more fragile than the peace and security of any individual at all times.
It’s sickening how we now live in a country of nearly no level of security. We are really on a time bomb so to say. In the aftermath of the Ayawaso west Wuogon incident and the call for the disbandment of political Militias in our body politics, we highly expect much of coordinated security show from the security services and highly alert to any form of attack whatsoever.
Security on our various borders are weak because of political interference and poses a big threat to us as a country. The reality of 2020 is downing on the NPP in their delivery of their mammoth promise to Ghanaians and so they are operating backdoor by allowing foreigners with no legal document into our country.
As for the robbery and kidnapping, the little said about them, the better. I will only “keep on keeping on” in TIWAA’s voice hoping that the Takoradi kidnapped girls are brought home alive to their parents. The signs of Robbery and kidnap were ignored in neighboring Nigeria and we can all tell by evidence the situation in Nigeria. President Akuffo Addo must understand and know he was elected under a democratic dispensation and the calls by many well meaning Ghanaians must be attended to pationately. But, I hear they now call him a Tyranny, hope he doesn’t assume himself in that regard….just not that.
The next election is what I hoped for, I hoped for a leader that will put people first, that will build a sustainable society of many opportunities, a leader that will prioritize security of our country, we need a leader that will build a strong and a resilient economy, and that hope I believe is in the next NDC government.
Let’s all forge together and chase this super incompetent government to where they belong. With the blessings of God, I’m confident Ghanaians will vote massively for the NDC come 2020.
