The Volta Regional Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Mr. James Gunu has discribed the just launched NDC’s Manifesto as the mother of all Manifestos.
Speaking to Awake News shortly after the lunching ceremony Mr. Gunu said the The People’s Manifesto is a weapon for Mass development adding its represents the aspirations of the people of Ghana.
If readers can recall, in October last year’s the NDC inaugurated it’s Manifesto committee. Shortly after the lunching of the committee, the party extended an invitation to the general public and focus groups to present their ideas on their needs to help in the development of the party’s 2020 Election Manifesto.
This approach many applauded was discribed by the ruling New Patriotic Party as an exercise showing the NDC lacks ideas hence running to the ordinary people to help them develop their Manifesto.
Almost a year on, the fruit of the mass consultation of the ordinary Ghanaians has come to speak for itself.
This Mr. James Gunu is saying will lead to the mass development of Ghana as the Manifesto will tackle the real needs of the people who will give the NDC power to rule this nation come January 2020.
