The NPP’s Performance Tracker is a scam -Ballasy Emmanuel

Ballasy Emmanuel, the Nkoranza North Constituency Secretary of NDC, has described the NPP government’s Performance Tracker as a fallacy and deceptive.

The recently launched Performance Tracker, according to the government provides details of all government projects, their progress and their locations.

According to the Minister of Works and Housing Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who MCed the launch, “the tracker is a database to showcase projects by the government.”

At the launch, the Minister noted that, “most of the time what people say is that what does government use my taxpayers’ money for? Well, this App will help you find whatever projects the government is using your money for”.

“This government is the digitalization government and the general public can personally check with their phones, the status of the projects and even make a physical inspection if they wish to do so,” he added.

He stressed that this would also assist and put a halt to the circulation of quack images as governments projects.

In fierce rebuttal, Mr. Ballasy Emmanuel accused Vice President Bawumia and the NPP of using valiant in exaggeration to present the Performance Tracker as a great tool. He said it is deceptive and concoct of reality.

Ballasy in an exclusive interview explained in an axiom pointed out that the performance tracker has been exposed for its deceitfulness.

He said in the performance tracker marked  road projects such as Busunya to Nyinaheni road and Tanoboasi – Kranka – Yefiri road in the Nkoranza North as completely upgraded. However, he said those roads have not been done, a claim he says supports he assertion that the tracker deceptive.

He added that the exposure shows that the Akuffo-Addo-led NPP government wanted to use performance tracker to write and present a fabricated reality to the people of Ghana, essentially, in the Nkoranza North constituency.

“The NPP’s performance tracker contains inaccurate information, for instance, the completion [status] of Busunya – Nyinaheni road and Tanoboasi – Kranka – Yefiri roads’ [marked] 100 per cent completed is deceptive. A visit to the roads recently showed that the information was fallacy,” he emphasized

“I believe this App will help Ghanaians more to find whatever projects the government is using our tax pecuniary for and will expose their incompetency,” Ballasy said.
