TRIBUTE TO COMMANDER KOJO NSIAH ISAAC.

Only God knows the tears that flow from my eyes anytime I try to say goodbye to my brother, Kojo.
Kojo, I just remembered our Youth programme in Kintampo. It was a fulfilment of a promise I made to you that after winning the Regional Youth Organizer position, my first regional programme will be held in Kintampo because that is where I grew up.
A promise you kept reminding me of, till I fulfiled it.
That programme, I will say, was one of the best and was financed by your sweat because all the sponsorship we had were from your initiatives.
On the first day, I remember how you saved the entire Youth Wing that evening by organizing supper when our caterer failed us. Even on the last day of the programme you saved the Youth Wing by giving us a loan of 5,000 to pay for T&T for your colleagues’ constituency which we couldn’t even finish paying before your sudden departure.
You were very instrumental in the creation of the Bono East Region a discussion we were having before your painful departure.
Your service to the party is beyond bounds. That is why on that fateful Saturday you made yourself available for that very important assignment.
Kojo, that day I remember you were full of life, you were fun, even when we met the NPP constituency Youth organizer for Kintampo North you stopped and we had a long friendly chat and our usual political fight with them. This showed how you see politics beyond politics.
Kojo, you remember our last stop was Sawaba where we bought the fried Yam with hot pepper which was our ‘pizza’ anytime we traveled.
Our plan was for you and your team to move to Nkoranza while myself and Roony also moved to Berekum so that I could proceed to Jon Kisa’s programme in Kumasi, Bantama.
Kojo you made the last call that day about 12minutes before your departure asking your colleague deputy Agyenim Boateng to meet us at a point so that he can join the team to Nkoranza.
What changed Kojo, why couldn’t you wait for a little?
We all saw death coming that moment Kojo, we saw it when it got closer…
We saw it when you tried to save all of us Kojo. I saw how you tried to bring out all the energy in you to save us all.
Kojo you left us with pain that has been in our heart till date.
Kojo you spoke alot about victory for the party you cherish so much but you couldn’t wait to celebrate it.
This endless tears I’m shedding tonight is because we have lost not just a Youth Organizer, but a pillar of the party and a Brother.
I have no power to bring back my good brother, so all I can say is God knows best.
Rest well my brother,
You joined me to bury my mum in Alavanyo Kpeme two months ago, tell mummy I miss her.
Kojo, the vacuum you have left can never be filled but want to assure you that, your death wouldn’t be in vain, we will continue to fight the battle you started till Victory is ours.
You died on duty, You died a warrior, You died a Soldier!
