A group called the Proper Concerned Youth of Tema West has called on Ghanaians and supporters of Member of Parliament, Carlos Ahenkorah to sign a book of resolution to seek for solution to their representative current predicament in the House.
This comes after Some concerned youth of Tema West constituency called for the removal of Carlos Ahenkorah as their constituency’s representative.
A statement issued by the group on Monday, January 11, 2021 and sighted by the Awake News said, “We, the Proper Concerned Tema West Youth in furtherance to our total support for our MP, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkrah, seeks to write a resolution letter Parliament in the coming days to tell the NDC MPS to Stay away from Our MP.
In view of this we have opened a resolution book in all the 11 electoral areas in the Constituency for people to go and sign, the group revealed.
The resolution book will be accessible to all from Monday, January 11 to Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
This according to the group has become necessary due to the fact that the NDC Youth in the Tema west constituency are calling themselves Concern youth and have hatched a sinister Plan to use the name of the Youth in the Constituency for their evil political propaganda gains hence will not sit aloof.
Hon. Carlos Ahenkorah has come under severe criticism after snatching ballot papers amid the election of speaker of the 8th parliament.
Some citizens have expressed disappointment and worry over the conduct exhibited by the Members of Parliament on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
Meanwhile, the group disclosed that it would in the coming days, submit a requisition to the Speaker of Parliament for resolution in favour of Carlos Ahenkorah.
“In other words you have only today to Wednesday to sign the resolution book to enable us submit same to the Speaker of Parliament on Thursday”.
