The disturbing and unfortunate news reaching Voltawebpage.com confirms that, a teacher trainee who is doing his mandatory teaching practice has done the unthinkable.

Ghana Education Service and Ghana Tertiary Education Commission, GTEC rules on Teaching Practice, prohibit student-teachers from misconducting themselves in ways that does not augur well for the smooth running of schools.

To this end, manuals such as Supported Teaching in Schools, National Teaching Council Teacher Engagement, National Teaching Standards etc were developed to guide their Practice.

However, reports reaching us from the Ashanti Region reveals that, a teacher trainee on Teaching Practice in one of the Basic Schools in the Asokore Mampong Municipality has impregnated 24 of his learners.

The said trainee also allegedly impregnates four female teachers and the headmistress in addition.

It has been alleged that the teacher trainee is a level 400 student-teacher from a popular College of Education in the Western Region.

The report of the sexual-escaped of the said trainee reached a crescendo when Community members got wind of his amorous relationship with the headmistress.

The Asokore Mampong Municipal Police Command were said to have arrested the said trainee after a report was made to them.
