President of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) Ben Nunoo Mensah has called on officials of the Taekwondo to be united ahead of the 1st Ghana International Open Championship.

He said Taekwondo is one of the sports that many Ghanaians have interest in and very soon, they should be winning many medals for the nation therefore they need to be united.

He added that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognizes only one body in a country, so those who have formed the Greater Accra Region Association and fighting the President of the Ghana Taekwondo Federation who is Treasurer of the GOC must try to unite with the recognized body.
