Ghanaian-South African afropop singer, Adina Thembi Ndamse better known by her stage name as Adina has advised fellow women to channel their attention on their God-given talents rather than portraying themselves as sex objects.

Responding to a question posed by Amansan Krakye as to whether women need nudity and profanity to stay relevant, Adina said nudity does not make one relevant but a sex object to the opposite sex.

Adding that “Some people say sex sells but I always prefer to do music my mum & kids can listen to without me feeling nervous about the words. I pay mind to subjects when doing songs”.

I don’t need to show my body in a nude photo or video to get attention

She cautions women to portray themselves in a way that they will be proud of.

“As a woman, I don’t need to show my body in a nude photo or video to get attention. As a musician profanity is not my style, I wouldn’t write songs that I can’t be proud of”. She stated.
