The Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif, has pledged a surprise package for Dreams FC ahead of their game against Zamalek. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Charles Amofah, made the revelation during an interview.

Dreams FC will face the Egyptian side at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, April 28, 2024, in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup semi-final. The two played out a goalless draw at the Cairo International Stadium last weekend.

“It will be a big surprise for Dreams FC before the match. Both the Minister and the Deputy will be in Kumasi,” said Amofah in an interview with Asempa FM. “An elder does not pay a visit with empty hands. I assure the club that they will receive good news from the government,” he added.

Karim Zito’s side will be counting on fans at the Baba Yara Stadium to see them through to the finals. They have promised free entry to the Popular and Centre Line stands while ticket prices for the VIP and VVIP sections have been reduced.
