The Member of Parliament for South Dayi constituency Mr. Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor through his ‘THANK YOU TOUR’ intensified his commitment to supporting youth sports in his constituency by sponsoring a huge volleyball and football gala in Tongor-Dzemeni.
As a young MP who takes what youths need and want as his priority, he donated an undisclosed number of volleyballs to Tongor-Dzemeni volleyball team.
His aim of the ‘Thank You Tour’ is to show appreciation to his constituency for his re-election to parliament under the fourth republic of Ghana.
In demonstrating his commitment to sports he also organized a Football Gala for the youths. It targeted rewarding the participation teams, the best player of the tournament, best defender, top goal scorer, and best goalkeeper of the tournament, among others.
The awards to be given to these categories of players are medals of gold and silver, trophies and many other items. It is also aimed at identifying talent who will make it to the National level and top European clubs.
“We are grateful to the good Lord for his presence and also thank Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor Esq for been there always for us and also for his tremendous supports in the occasions of these sorts. Thanks to you all for following us” the youths in return thank him.
