Some social media activists have raised concerns over what seems to be the over deployment of Ghana’s military at the least instance.

The Military, a revered institution for some time now has been in the news since the December 2020 election with the opposition NDC members most especially raising concerns about how the state security has become a seemly “bullying” tool in the hands of the incumbent.

The opposition has consistently accused the incumbent of using the military to intimidate them.
Aside from the infamous invasion of Parliament by some military men. the chairperson of the Electoral Commission is also seen in the midst of heavily armed military men anytime she goes to court for the 2020 election Petition hearing.

However, In a trending Facebook picture, a Ghanaian soldier is seen holding the bag of lawyer Frank Davies who is one of the lawyers representing President Akufo Addo in the Election Petition filed by John Mahama.
People’s concern is that why should a soldier be holding the bag of a private lawyer in that instance.

Many others also believe it is never a big deal for a soldier to be carrying the bag of the lawyer representing the President who is the Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana armed forces in court.
