I heard with a shock and disbelieve the death of a friend, a brother, comrade and one of the finest brains in this country who helped redefined our economy during his leadership as the Governor of the Bank of Ghana and the chairman of the Economic management team.
I have known the former vice President for years and his leadership skills challenged some of us to reach the top.
His calm composure, smiles and frankness about issues made him [ads1]strive to a greater height as the second most powerful person in Ghana.
I remember when the idea of the unity walk was discussed with him and he bought into it and joined us for the couple of times which showed he was indeed for peaceful and a united NDC.
He was someone who believed in the unity of our party as well as building and strengthening the grassroots of the party.
Let us together console ourselves as a family while we wait for directive from the party and the family of our Comrade.
We have lost a great asset as a party and a nation.
Damirifa due! Damirifa!! Damirifa due!!!
Rest In Perfect Peace Senior Comrade.
Hon. Kojo Bonsu.
Former Mayor, Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.
