Honestly, reigning Ghanaian Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale has no interest in signing a record label deal with the mega label “Zylofon media”. Shatta wale made his decision long before the label signed Stonebwoy.
An individual (Name withheld) close to Shatta Wale revealed that, Shatta was first approached by the Zylofon Media representative, who tried to convince him to sign onto the label. The informant who shared this piece of information with me riposted that Shatta Wale told the Zylofon representative that he will only sign to the label if the contract includes holding of shares.
According to my source, Shatta Wale told them he needed 50% shares holding of Zylofon Media to push for the deal which for real did not go down well with the firm…
The talks between the two parties ended abruptly when Shatta Wale included his desire to hold shares in the company.
After weeks of unsuccessful negotiation, Zylofon media decided to sign Stonebwoy instead. Now that Zylofon media had signed his supposed rival, Shatta wale has no desire to even have a negotiation talks with the representative of Zylofon media.
According to the individual with the knowledge of the negotiation, Shatta Wale sent his best wishes to Zylofon media after the news of Stonebwoy signing play out in the media.
If you were wishing Zylofon media to sign Shatta Wale, it never going to happen!!!
